Julien Schleiffer

I'm a concept artist, illustrator, animator and educator. I've been freelancing for the last 12 years, mostly doing motion design, storyboard and illustration for different types of clients. Since last year I'm focusing on storytelling and have created concept art for clients like the BBC or Stella Artois. I also teach courses and workshops on the same topics.

I'm a member of Urban Sketchers and my main interest is in drawing portraits and telling stories with illustration or animation. I enjoy sketching with digital tools as much experimenting with traditional ones.

I went to University but I'm self-taught in digital painting. I've always been looking for what makes this medium unique. I guess it helped me shape my style through a free and experimental approach to color and shapes.
