Ozoz Sokoh

I'm a food explorer, budding curator, and Traveler By Plate. For me "Food Is More Than Eating". I love to document, in various forms and formats from writing to film, poetry, and everything in between. I build spaces of knowledge that people can reference and use as research sources for personal and professional growth.

My work in and with food is broad, from writing and research to photography and documentation, recipe development and writing, and teaching. I approach it with curiosity and the understanding that there is a lot of creativity to explore.

I've explored curatorial projects with food, from exhibitions to installations; co-hosted an annual food festival, and love showcasing all the ways we can engage with and explore food.

One of my current projects, Coast to Coast, from West Africa to the World, explores the edible trails and impact of West African intellectual contributions and knowledge systems, paying homage to West African ancestors and their expertise, resilience, and creativity.
