Piret Victoria Ribas

Piret Victoria Ribas is an Estonian lifestyle and travel photographer currently living in Brazil. Her work is deeply inspired by the different stages of a person’s life, the beauty of nature, the biographies of saints, and a humorous perspective on life’s complexities. Her art is also influenced by profound ideas, the power of words, and, contrastingly, the hypocrisy of politics.

Piret studied at Tallinn University’s Baltic Film, Media, and Art School. Alongside her artistic endeavors, she has supervised art classes for preschool children and has worked as a kindergarten teacher for several years. These experiences have enriched her view of the world and inspired her creative process.

Her photography embodies a delicate balance between nature and the inherent beauty of human nature. Piret believes that to witness love in others, one must first understand it themselves. This philosophy is reflected in her works, where her subjects are portrayed with empathy and depth.
