I live in Manchester UK, although this profile won't let me type that in. Anyway, I was always good at drawing as a kid, but circumstances and situations meant I could not take it up or develop into an artist. Eventually, I met and married an actual artist and he is very supportive. However, he could not support us through his art and so I got on with working for a living. Now aged 67 I have returned to art as something I can and want to do in my old age and in retirement. But without formal training. Domestika is wonderful as a resource and I am so glad that I can get back to making pretty illustrations and finding out about myself as an artist. The aim is to sell my paintings probably online. And to support my husband in his work too.
