Katy Dika

Katy has poured her love of patterns into her surface designs for nearly 2 decades, creating artwork for such names as Iris Apfel, Michael Graves Design Studio, Talbots, Coldwater Creek and numerous others. She is known for her versatility in style and subject matter and for her ability to create on-trend artwork for any project.
Her personal passions are insects and nature’s patterns, both of which often find their way into her artwork. In tandem with her design career, Katy has worked as a curator of specimens at the Rhode Island School of Design Nature Lab, and as a design educator and coach, roles which have brought her much joy and inspiration. Katy teaches surface design at Rhode Island School of Design, Lasell University and via her private coaching practice.
