Inge de Laat

I am female, from 1965

Grown up in a world without internet, as a child I was inspired by
- the drawings of Fiep Westendorp
- the drawings at the walls of the dentist (;-)) in which you could view a lot of things, each time again;
- the drawings of Hergé (Kuifje)
- the drawings of Dick Bruna (Nijntje, en other drawings) - I discoverd just now this: 'Review I saw Matisse and I came up with Miffy”, Dick Bruna (1927) once said.
and later
- Keith Haring with his powerful colors, lines, composition and energy;
- Jean Dubuffet, (especially his Jardin d’Émail) and visits to the Kröller Müller Museum.
- the drawings of Quinten Blake
- the drawings of Annemarie van Haeringen
- Toyin Loye, 'communication with spirits' (the giraffe)
- the drawings of Red Cheeks Factory
- the drawings and way of work of Eric Carle
- a book about architect Hundertwasser
- the drawings of Nicola Heindl for Putamayo Blend
- good graffitti on murals - street art

My farther was an architect and learned me a lot about photography (and lines and shapes).
I like to photograph, espacially street photography, abstract photography (lines and shapes).
