Eivind Hansen is a London-Based, Art, Portrait & Fashion Photographer from Tromsø, Norway.
He graduated from BA (hons) in Fashion Photography at UAL’s London College of Fashion in 2016.
Prior to this Eivind studied Fine Art Photography at Oslo Photo Art School and is now working full time as a freelance photographer in London.
Eivind grew up doing contemporary circus in the city of Tromsø, one of Europe’s most northern cities. Here the winters are long and dark but illuminated by the Northern Lights.
This, without any doubt, has influenced the way Eivind work with both light and colour.
Eivind’s worked with the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, United Nations, Kaleidoscope Trust, and Adobe Photoshop.
Eivind was the recipient of the Gay Times Honours for Arts and Culture in 2018 for his work celebrating trans activists for United Nation’s Orange The World: End Violence Against Women initiative.
Eivind is also a brand ambassador for Nanlite, who’s colourful lights have become a staple in his work, which continues to be one of the main tools of his trade.
