Learn to create unique images using just one embroidery stitch
If you're thinking of picking up a needle and thread for the first time, the back stitch is a great place to start your journey in the world of embroidery. This embroidery stitch—of Victorian origin—has a peculiarity, as the name implies, in that the individual stitches are made in the opposite direction to the general sewing direction.
In this course, learn to embroider from scratch using this classic stitch alongside Gimena Romero, thread artist with extensive embroidery experience and also the teacher of Painting with Thread: Textile Illustration Techniques, Experimental Embroidery Techniques on Paper, and Introduction to Blackwork Embroidery .
