Learn techniques to depict the strength of the female body and women everywhere
Portraying real women and provoking reflections on aesthetic standards and current behavior are just a couple of visual artist Pri Barbosa's goals. After creating murals, paintings, and illustrations for clients such as Asics, 3M, and HuffPost, in this online course, she teaches you how to paint non-idealized female figures with acrylic paint.
Throughout the course, Pri explains how to develop a concept and a palette of analogous colors and explains step by step how to do a portrait. Each element of a piece is capable of reflecting customs, times, and beliefs. So, grab your brushes and learn to create paintings that convey what you truly believe!

Reviews
A course by Priscila Barbosa
For visual artist Pri Barbosa, the women around her and how they conquer space in society are the greatest inspirations. Transiting between painting, muralism, and illustration, the São Paulo-born artist creates portraits of female figures in moments of insurgency and rebellion. Her aim is to question the representation of the muse in Western art, as well as power dynamics.
With a degree in visual arts from Belas Artes and studies in gender and body at PUC-SP, Pri has collaborated with clients such as Asics, 3M, Fós Feminista, Huffpost, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. She has also exhibited her work at festivals and both group and individual exhibitions.
