Animate subtle movement in your character designs using After Effects and Procreate.
¨Animation is the perfect discipline to enhance our characters, captivate the viewer’s attention and immerse them in the narrative of your artwork¨, says the experienced digital illustrator and motion designer Nuria Boj. She's worked with Stoke to create looping animations for an Adobe project, created a Google Doodle representing the Scottish team on the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup. She has been commissioned by Studio Bullpen to illustrate collaboration, togetherness and creativity and also, collaborated with various animation studios such as Ordinary Folk, designing for motion on a wide variety of projects.
In this online course, Nuria shows you how to implement simple animations to a character illustration using After Effects. She also teaches you to use Procreate to enhance details in your composition. The final project will be a looping animation of your own character, ready to share online. Give a special spark to your illustrations and bring them to life!

Reviews
Nuria Boj is a digital illustrator and motion designer based in Scotland. She found her passion for all things digital at a young age when her mother taught her how to use a computer. She became interested in using Photoshop and creating her own animated GIFs to develop forum signatures and blogs.
Nuria moved from her native Spain to Edinburgh to study Graphic Design in 2016 and started using her free time to learn how to master After Effects. Eventually, realized her passion was in motion graphics. Since beginning work as a freelance motion designer, she has developed work for Google, such as a Google Doodle representing the Fifa Women's World Cup and created a series of blog animated illustrations for Stoke, on their Adobe project.

It was a great learning. The course is very well explained, Just that you need to have idea about character design and drawing, thats a pre requisite I feel but other than that the main motive of this course was animation and it did fulfill that.. So definitely I would recommend people to try this.
