Learn advanced stitches to apply to garments
An embroidered piece is more than just decoration. Stitch by stitch, time and dedication turn it into something beyond thread and stitches. Loly Ghirardi—known on social media as Señorita Lylo and cofounder of uauh! studio—has spent more than 10 years among thread, stitches, and colors, collaborating for publications in both Europe and Latin America, among many other projects.
If you dove into the world of embroidery in her first course Basic Embroidery Techniques: Stitches, Compositions and Color Ranges this time Señorita Lylo encourages you to take a step further to learn more advanced stitches and create compositions with volume that you can apply to any garment.

A course by Señorita Lylo
Loly Ghirardi, also known as Señorita Lylo, is an embroiderer and graphic designer based in Barcelona. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) she worked on design projects, but gradually began to leave the digital to one side in favor of crafts. That's how she fell in love with embroidery.
Armed with hoops, thread, and needles, she creates unique pieces and experiments with different mediums. Each project starts with a conceptual search and each stitch is accompanied by an anecdote, a personal story, or a place she's visited. Over time, she seized the opportunity to teach everything she knows about embroidery. This vocation brings her peace and continues to inspire her more and more every day.
