As for materials, you’ll need pencils, paper, an eraser, printed images to cut out, different colored hanks of embroidery thread, sewing needles (numbers 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9), flat fabrics (raw cotton, twill, linen, denim), an embroidery hoop, and adhesive glue.

Juliana Mota is a designer and embroiderer from Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a graphic designer, she has collaborated with editorials, agencies, and photography studios. She has also worked freelance as an illustrator for magazines, books, movies, and websites.
In 2014 she started embroidering and giving courses and workshops. She currently works on creating signature embroidery pieces, custom embroidered items, and illustrations, as well as teaching.

El curso es uno muy completo. Me gustó q presenta varias puntadas y sugerencias en la utilización de las mismas. Sin embargo lo mas importante lo dejaron fuera y mo es culpa de la profesora si no de Domestika en sí. La demostración de puntadas no se observa bien debido a q no hay acercamiento de la cámara cuando se hace demostración de las mismas. Se dificulta observar como se hacen las puntadas por esto. Un curso introductorio y muy ameno para empezar en el bordado.
