Creation of a capsule collection in collaboration with the Mugartiz restaurant
Creation of a capsule collection in collaboration with the Mugartiz restaurant
Xabier Zirikiain and Victor Serna, creators of the Loreak Mendian brand, will teach you, together with the rest of your team, to design a fashionable capsule collection and to elaborate all the communication materials for its launch.
When talking about capsule collection, we refer to a small collection that is made in collaboration with another brand. In this case, Loreak Mendian will explain the project he has developed together with the restaurant Mugaritz, a temple of gastronomy that unites tradition and avant-garde.

A course by Loreak Mendian
It all started in 1995 when Víctor Serna and Xabi Zirikiain opened a store in the port of San Sebastián. Xabi, an engineer who until then was dedicated to designing airplane wings, had made a logo that represented a margarita famous around the city. For his part, Víctor had just finished his business career and his entrepreneurial spirit prompted him to propose the commercialization of the product. Thus began one of those youthful nonsense: create a clothing brand.
Together and with more enthusiasm than experience, they embarked on an adventure in tandem: Xabi designing logos and reflecting in them the influence of many worlds such as music, art, architecture ... and Víctor taking care of the brand's approach, and trying to give a business nature to this adventure. Together they created a universe: the Loreak Mendian universe.
Over the years this team has grown a lot. Two have gone to forty and Víctor left the business side to more "gridded" people and designs, together with a team, the Collection. That first store on Calle Mari was followed by more stores, 15 in total. 10 own in Spain, four franchises (in Bilbao, Lyon and 2 in Australia) and a shop-in-shop in Paris. What was initially sold exclusively in Spain, can now be found in Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Australia or Japan.
Loreak Mendian pretends to be a different option and a benchmark in street fashion. Flee from the labels, from the tendency to the tendency, simply and plainly projecting all your creativity and your way of understanding life in quality garments.
