Tatiana Boyko is a Russian illustrator that was born and raised under the sun of Spain and is now based in South London where she has been living for the last five years. This colourful and nomadic background is reflected in her work through a concise collection of stylistic influences. She draws inspiration from nature, botanical drawings, folk art and victorian pattern design while retaining a modern style by the use of bold shapes and a warm, vivid colour palette. She loves working with gouache paint, crayons, pencils, exploring different mediums and combining traditional and digital media.
Her distinctive style has found a home with editorial, packaging, surface design and book projects ever since graduating in 2015. She is represented by Central Illustration Agency and some clients she has collaborated with include Walker Books, Vanity Fair France, Sheffield Children Hospital, The Boston Globe, Dragonfly Tea, Carluccio’s or Kenzo.
