My name is Salma El Kashef

I'm a filmmaker and cinematographer living in Cairo, Egypt. My interest in cinema and movies began while I studied cinematography at the High Institute of Cinema. In 2010, I was introduced to cinema and film, and I immediately began playing with photography. This is obvious in my current work; my artistic theory centres on fusing cinema and film with still photography; I like to capture images with a cinematic undertone. During my education, I worked as a focus puller on several drama sets, and my comprehension and scope of knowledge of lighting and film expanded as a result. With past experience directing fashion videos and commercials, I was able to develop my sense of style when it came to portraying emotive cinematic art.

Photography has always been essential to me since it allows me to express myself artistically.

And I adore photography in all aspects. But I always like photography in natural light, and that is what I will share with you.
