ENG - Hello, my name is Jelena and I am the founder of ricamoaltamoda.it. My passion for embroidery took off thanks to excellent training at the Lesage school in Paris, part of the Chanel world, and then at Hand and Lock in London, renowned for their work with the Queen's army and the royal family. My dedication was recognized in 2018 with an award in a Swarovski contest, which led me to discover the exclusive Swarovski archives in Austria.

In addition to being an enthusiastic embroiderer and teacher, I also collaborate with high fashion ateliers for the design and prototyping of embroideries for prêt-à-porter and haute couture collections. This experience has allowed me to deeply understand the needs and trends of the fashion industry, integrating the art of embroidery with modern design aesthetics.

My passion for embroidery was also inspired by my love for opera music. While attending the opera singing school, the embroidered theatrical costumes fascinated me, showing how embroidery could emphasize the characters and transformations of the characters on stage. The need to create unique jewelry for my concert dresses, on a limited budget, led me to learn how to embroider on my own.

In 2018, I founded my high fashion embroidery school, offering both online and in-person courses, with the goal of preserving and passing on the manual embroidery techniques. My courses are designed for anyone fascinated by the world of embroidery and wanting to learn to create masterpieces for both fashion and their personal pleasure. With my experience and guidance, I invite you to embark on a creative journey into the world of embroidery.

ITA - Ciao, mi chiamo Jelena e sono la fondatrice di ricamoaltamoda.it. La mia passione per il ricamo ha preso il volo grazie a una formazione eccellente presso la scuola Lesage a Parigi, parte del mondo Chanel, e poi presso Hand and Lock a Londra, rinomati per il loro lavoro con l'esercito della regina e la famiglia reale. La mia dedizione è stata riconosciuta nel 2018 con un premio in un concorso Swarovski, che mi ha portato a scoprire gli esclusivi archivi Swarovski in Austria.

Oltre a essere un'appassionata ricamatrice e insegnante, collaboro anche con atelier di alta moda per la progettazione e la prototipazione di ricami per le collezioni prêt-à-porter e haute couture. Questa esperienza mi ha permesso di comprendere a fondo le esigenze e le tendenze dell'industria della moda, integrando l'arte del ricamo con la moderna estetica del design.

La mia passione per il ricamo è stata ispirata anche dalla mia amore per la musica lirica. Mentre frequentavo la scuola di canto lirico, i costumi teatrali ricamati mi hanno affascinato, mostrando come il ricamo potesse enfatizzare i caratteri e le trasformazioni dei personaggi sul palco. La necessità di creare gioielli unici per i miei abiti da concerto, con un budget limitato, mi ha portato a imparare a ricamare da sola.

Nel 2018, ho fondato la mia scuola di ricamo di alta moda, offrendo corsi sia online che in presenza, con l'obiettivo di preservare e tramandare le tecniche manuali di ricamo. I miei corsi sono progettati per chiunque sia affascinato dal mondo del ricamo e voglia imparare a creare capolavori sia per la moda che per il proprio piacere personale.
