Rebecca Rigg is a self taught natural dyer and textile artist based in SW France. Alongside her textile artist mum Julie, they created their homewares & accessories brand MARRAM. With an emphasis on patchwork and up cycling, each item they make carries the individual “birthmarks” of the plants and minerals used to bring colour to their creations.
Rebecca draws inspiration from her surroundings, especially that of the Atlantic ocean and pine forests of where she lives. Forever exploring the relationship between fabric and plants has led her to continue her exploration of different dyeing techniques offered through the vast universe of natural dyes.
Their work has been featured in many magazines and online features such as Home Magazine, Elle Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Simple Things Magazine, The Zoe Report, Anthropologie and Etsy.
