Luke Adam Hawker

Hello, I’m Luke and I am very, very passionate about drawing, so much so I decided to base my whole life around it. I have learnt a great deal over the years and hope that through Domestika, I can share this knowledge and my passion for the simplest of all the arts, drawing.

I began my career as a designer before becoming a full-time artist back in 2015. Since then I have specialised in drawing on location, exploring and sharing my fascination with the world around me and how drawing can help us connect with both places and people.

Most recently I have created the Sunday Times Best Seller ‘Together’ my first graphic novel. Together takes a philosophical look at the events of 2020. Using the metaphor of a monumental storm, we follow a man and his dog through the uncertainty and change that it brings to their lives.

After graduating from University I began my design career in London, the transition from designer to full time artist was gradual but inevitable. Since first sharing my work online I have grown a loyal social media audience of over 300,000 people.

I look forward to continuing this journey into drawing and hope to inspire others to take their own....
