Edney Souza, known in the digital world as InterNey for being one of the pioneers of the Brazilian internet, is a technology specialist, professor, speaker and entrepreneur.
Graduated in Data Processing from Universidade Mackenzie, with a postgraduate degree in IT Applied to Business from FASP, has been working in the technology market since 1990.
Since 2006 he founded or was part of the initial team of 6 startups: InterNey Blogs, Agência Polvora!, boo-box, 00k, Digital House Brasil e SigmaGeek.
InterNey.net was recognized by the IDG (International Data Group) as the most popular blog on the Brazilian internet in 2006, 2007 & 2008.
Since 2009 has curated or organized events such as Campus Party Brasil and Recife, Media Performance Day, Social Media Week São Paulo & FuTeCH Summit.
Is co-author of the books "To Understand the Internet" (2009) & "Marketing in Information Science" (2021).
In 2015 was honored by the São Paulo City Council for his collaboration in the development of the digital market.
In 2016 was recognized as Top Voices by LinkedIn.
In 2017 was invited as ambassador of Brazil at Viva Technology Paris.
Since 2017 it has been part of the SAP influencer program.
In 2018 received Prêmio Digitalks as recognition for market development.
Since 2018 is recognized by Pinterest as Marketing Expert.
In 2019 participated in the documentary "Hackers" available on Amazon Prime.
