I'm a cartoon character designer and visual development artist in the fields of feature and TV-animation and was a student of well-regarded Disney, MGM and Hanna-Barbera animator and animation director Ken Southworth who influenced me greatly. In 2009 I was awarded with the Nemoland Award in Florence for my character design work, in March 2023 I received the main Sokol Price for digital caricature, critical drawing and satire for outstanding accomplishments in the field of digital drawing.
I worked and still work on cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck as well as on Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Silvester and The Pinky And The Brain, just to name a few, for clients that include Warner Bros., Disney, The Zanuck Company, ReelFX, Space Age Films, Psyop, Ravensburger North America, Facebook, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Red Bull and Snapchat.
At the present, I'm in the developing phase with Disney writer Denis-Pierre Filippi of an all new Donald Duck adventure in the classic form of an comic album.
Besides my work in the animation and comic book industry, my cartoon character satire and caricature work is regularly displayed at Museums and Galleries, most recently at the Caricature Museum in Krems, Austria.
