Hi! I'm a fiber artist, and I paint with wool and a needle. I specialize in creating highly realistic and representational portraits using a needle felting technique for private commissions and exhibitions. Using wool fiber as a painterly medium is special. It's incredibly tactile, and each of the fibers passes through your hand and touches your fingers before becoming part of the art. Each color and each layer are lovingly placed to create beautiful images.

I absolutely love teaching this technique and sharing it with my students. I've taught thousands of students worldwide through workshops and online courses. I wrote a best-selling book called Painting With Wool: 16 Artful Projects to Needle Felt. Helping students discover a new medium and expand their creative endeavors is what I live for.
