Daniela Constantini

My name is Daniela Constantini. I am a Mexican photographer living in Bern, Switzerland. I graduated from the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York. My long-term project Days of Silence won Rita K. Hillman Excellence Award.

Since graduation, I have been working as a freelance photographer focusing on Portraiture, Still Life, and Lifestyle. I have been as an Art Director, Stylist, and Photographer on projects with brands like Villars Maître Chocolatier, L'Occitane, Mövenpick, Ojo de Café, in Switzerland, and for Pyne & Smith Clothiers based in California, USA, among others.

My portraiture and still life work won 1st place and the Swiss Photo Award on the 2nd Edition of the International Photo Festival in Olten, 2023, and exhibited at the Photography Festival in Switzerland in Olten, Switzerland. I won Feature Shoot Emerging Photography Awards, Series Winner, 2021. My work was exhibited in Paris and Berlin. I am a 2022 finalist for The Independent Photographer People Awards and the 2021 Open Call Award. I am a 2019 Dior Photography Award Laureate, my work was exhibited at Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles, France.

I have exhibited work in New York, Mexico City, Olten (Switzerland) Paris, Arles, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Before moving to New York, I worked as a freelance journalist in Mexico City, my hometown, and collaborated with different companies on video, photo, and journalistic productions.

In 2015 Errr-Magazine, a Mexican magazine devoted to art and literature published my first novel, El gato me da igual. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a major in Journalism from Universidad Ibero in Mexico City.
