I have always felt there is an equilibrium between color and texture, and how they play a major roll within art. In my own work and the study of the wildlife kingdom there has never been a purer representation of them both. Working with multiple mediums allows me to not only play with these nuances but also experience this beauty even more. This allows me to create works of art that represent each and every aspect from the light reflection on a bird of preys wing, to the sunlight cascading across an animals fur. I hope you enjoy my journey of creating these beautiful subject matter as much as I enjoy watching them come to life once again on page.
As a young child I have always navigated towards nature and wildlife with all the beauty it has to offer. My artistic journey started at the age of seven when I first picked up my paintbrush for the first time. Watercolor was my first experience with art and I was instantly in love. From the sheer quality that it has to offer to the layers you can build with it, I was mesmerized. Through time I learned to fall in love with art all over again working with graphite. Perhaps it’s similarities to sheer layers that allow one to build up textures the same way. My artistic journey is always changing between mediums to where I now focus my art in several mediums that consist of graphite, watercolor, colored pencils and ink specializing in wildlife artistry.
