I'm a graphic designer and illustrator, focusing on branding, illustrative campaigns, and product packaging. I began working as a freelance graphic designer in the early 2000s, and now 20+ years in, I've been able to look back to see how I've carved my own path in this giant industry. I've constantly returned to the same sources of inspiration that inspired me to begin with, and have helped shape me into the artist I am now.
In 2003 I began working with an independent t-shirt brand called Johnny Cupcakes. The ten years I spent working there in a lead design role, helped me learn the basics of visual communication, layout impact fulness, and marketability. In 2006, while I was working as a freelancer, I graduated from The University of North Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art.
After spending a decade in a half building brands and products for other business, I realized I could put that same energy into myself as a brand. I spent a handful of years discovering what I could design and make for myself, to create a secondary stream of income. That flirtation with creating something for me, lead to a whole new thing altogether. In 2016 I launched a goods and accessories brand called Hellcats USA with my wife. We now have our very own storefront full of products we design in-house.
