I am the principal and creative director of Casalino Design, an independent design company in New York City focusing on book design, print, and branding.
Over the past two decades, I have created designs for many notable clients and authors including Lady Gaga, Penguin Random House, Stephen King, HarperCollins, A+E Television, Simon & Schuster, IBM, and The New York Times.
Prior to starting Casalino Design in 2016, I worked in-house as an art director and designer
at Simon & Schuster, Random House, and Grand Central Publishing, and I began my career at Rodrigo Corral Design.
My work has been recognized by numerous design organizations and publications including AIGA, the Type Directors Club, Print, Communication Arts, Eye Magazine, and the New York Book Show. I have also served as competition chair and judge for several international design competitions, including for The Type Directors Club, The Art Directors Club, and the Association of American University Presses.
